I apologize for confusion.
Actually it is automatically created mount point for a partition on the USB drive.
Likewise I am using a Plex server. For the same reason, how can avoid this from happening ?

Thanks
The way I mount a USB drive is by filesystem label. Fido didn't like cartoon characters so now each filesystem is named after a different breed of cow.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cattle_breeds

I think the idea was to draw attention to the fact that Walt Disney's Goofy was not really a dog. Once labeled you can mount the drive with something like

Code:

# mount LABEL=guernsey /x/guernsey
assuming /x/guernsey is a suitable mount point.

The point is that it doesn't matter if the drive is detected as sda, sdb or whatever, because you can logically refer to the filesystem by its label.
